Metric Marine & Industrial was established in 1988 by owners Frank A. Bourne and Claus Espe. Both owners have over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry. Frank Bourne is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering as well as a Masters of Business Administration in International Management. Claus Espe is a graduate of The Maritime Business School in Copenhagen and has been employed in the ship supply business in Denmark and the United States.
